Traveling Toward Fire

A Premature FI Experiment

Chocolate, Coffee, Friday Afternoon Club

Travel Log: Day 7 (7/4), Costa Rica

Morning

We had an 8am chocolate/coffee tour which started our day. It was within walking distance which made it easy. The tour was really good, but it’s more about providing info than endless amounts of chocolate and coffee. I had the equivalent of about a cup of coffee, and maybe one normal size Hershey bar. The guide (Alberto) was a good presenter though. AC and BC both ran the sugar cane grinder, and JC and I got a shot of sugar cane moonshine.

After the tour we walked a bit and then came back for coffee/brunch.

Afternoon

Afternoon activities were pretty limited. There was some duolingo and a nap for me. With it being Friday we did our typical FAC routine, which means JC and I having happy hour while the kids do screens. We went and got pizza at “Pizzaria La Cava” and the pizza was a solid 8.5/10. After that we watched a movie (Boss Baby, BC’s pick) that I technically had the right to protest under FAC bylaws since he has seen it within the last few weeks, but I dropped my protest after he was going to rent a $6 movie.
