Japan Search

We are getting to the point that we need to book our first Japan Airbnb. I spent a couple hours today searching for places and it’s turning into a lot of effort like it always does. We are working within a desired range of $2500-$3500 per month and it still makes for a lot to sift through. Do we live with a two bedroom place and be a little less comfortable for closer to $2500? Do we find something more spacious on the higher end?

I also just now realized that we’re flying into NRT. The price was good on those tickets so I’m not sure I would change that. I’d rather fly to Haneda which is closer to Tokyo. It just means we’ll have a longer train ride into Tokyo, but it also confused the search by tempting us to look along the path to Narita.

Cheap Fast Food Stand – Part II

In part one we went to this fast food stand after happy hour, and I would have rated my nachos an 8/10. Tonight we went there sober and I tried to order something different but they didn’t have it. It was some word that means sausage and fries. Not wanting to think any further I just ordered the nachos again. I’m sure they were exactly the same, and I’d rate them a pedestrian 6/10. It just confirms what I already know that food tastes better after a couple cocktails.
