Travel Log: Day 14 (7/11), Costa Rica
This was a pretty quiet day, and I barely left the house. In the morning all of us except BC worked out. BC doesn’t need that because his daily activity level is through the roof.
The Japan search continued and my mind was much more clear on how we should narrow our focus. I realized we should focus on the area we want to be in (central Japan), and get the cost of accommodation as low was we can while still being comfortable. In order to get the price down I figured we should sacrifice the kitchen. That cost savings at the expense of the kitchen would allow us to eat out almost exclusively on the saved money. Japan is one of the few spots that we really want to experience the food. We ended up finding three good candidates in the 2100-2400 range.
In the afternoon JC and I went over to a local minimart that we saw while walking. It’s like a massively scaled down grocery store having the most bare essentials. We bought some drinks and then enjoyed FAC.
